Kamasutra 3D initially offered to Kareena Kapoor Khan?

Kamasutra 3D, which has been in the midst of controversy because of the steamy content that it boasts of, with Sherlyn Chopra at the core, was apparently initially offered to Kareena Kapoor Khan, says director Rupesh Paul.
According to a leading portal, director Rupesh said that Kareena Kapoor was his first choice and so he approached her for the pivotal role that is played by Sherlyn.
However, Kareena apparently turned down the film because of the excessive nudity, although she loved the script.
Kamasutra 3D, although slammed as highly pornographic in nature, recently received praise at the 66th Cannes film festival and after it was conferred three nominations including best motion picture, best original score and original song at this year 86th Academy awards.
The film is slated to release in May this year.
