Rakhi Sawant wants Sunny Leone to be BANNED?
2 min readIn a controversial statement, senior CPI leader Atul Anjan has accused Sunny Leone’s condom advertisements for the rising number of rape cases in India. Anjan claimed that Sunny’s condom commercial will set off the tendency amongst males to commit rapes and that it was creating sexuality and ruining sensibilities.
When told by reporters that his comments could create a controversy, he said he would offer apology to those who felt he made any “wrong” statement and were in agreement with the “dirty and vulgar” advertisement. “Although I apologize, I, however, but I don’t stand for such ads”.
At some point, we do expect our political leaders to acknowledge that sexual violence has deep roots in our collective mindset and we need to attack these roots if we’re to combat the problem successfully. “Not by pornography, naked women or any other “provocation”, women’s activist Kavita Krishnan posted on her Facebook page. “I agree with government ads which promote condoms but these ads can not be allowed”, he maintained.
After targeting Sunny Leone with her hilarious dialogue, “Leela ko main geela kar dungi!”, Rakhi Sawant again has something to say on Ragini MMS2 actress. He added: “If such type of ads will be shown on TV and newspaper then no one can stop rapes in India”.
She appeared in an advertisement for a condom brand of condoms called Manforce in December past year.
Unfazed by the criticism for his remark, Anjan mocked the fans of the actor. Anjan also said that he had never watched a single porn film in his life.
In the past, politicians have blamed tight jeans, short skirts and even spicy noodles for a rise in rape cases.
